Position Summary: The Prescription Refill Nurse is a critical member of our healthcare team, responsible for ensuring the safe and timely renewal of patients' prescription medications. This role requires a Registered Nurse (RN) who is detail-oriented and skilled in patient communication. The nurse will utilize clinical knowledge to accurately refill prescriptions, coordinate follow-up appointments, and ensure comprehensive documentation and billing. Education: Licensure: Certifications: Skills: - Associates of Science in Nursing (ASN Required - Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice. - Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. - Certification in Medication Administration or similar is a plus. - Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. - Excellent communication and patient interaction abilities. - Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems. - Ability to interpret and follow medical protocols and flow charts. - Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
