Job description

Overview: - Tier One Technologies is seeking a Network Engineer to perform LAN and WiFi monitoring and support for our US Government client. - This hybrid Contract-to-Hire position will be located in Raleigh, NC. - The work schedule: Saturday thru Wednesday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM EST with occasional on-call rotation and after-hours work. - SELECTED CANDIDATES WITHOUT REQUIRED CLEARANCE WILL BE SUBJECT TO A FEDERAL GOVERNMENT BACKGROUND INVESTIGATION TO RECEIVE IT. Responsibilities: - Troubleshoot and resolve LAN and WiFi connectivity issues, including, but not limited to, switches, routers, and cabling. - Resolve Trouble tickets generated through ServiceNow - Document troubleshooting steps and solutions for future reference. - Assist Tier 1 support in diagnosing and resolving LAN-related problems. - Provide Tier 2 support for LAN-related incidents and service requests escalated from Tier 1. - Collaborate with Tier 3 LAN Engineers for complex issue resolution. - Perform duties in support of the mission as directed by company’s Management. - Typically performs all functional duties independently. - Provide assistance of more senior positions and/or perform functional duties under th...
