Working to protect the state’s environment and heritage - Project Officer (Cattle), Clerk 7/8 - Temporary to 7 June 2030 - Office location – Dorrigo - Salary relative to experience, and ranges from $113, 574 to $125,720 plus superannuation and leave loading About the role: National Parks and Wildlife Service has a unique opportunity for a Project Officer to oversee the coordination and management of cattle removal activities within the North Coast Branch, notably in the Coffs Coast and Clarence Areas. The role will serve as primary liaison for stakeholders involved in this work. You will support the development and coordinate the implementation of cattle management plans, including destocking programs and maintaining stock-free parks, in line with the NPWS Livestock management policy. About You: You will have strong communication skills to develop plans and strategies and build and maintain relationships with lessees, permit holders and key organisations including Local Lands Service, Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development and NSW Police Force.
