Overview Abacus Technology is seeking a Sr. Engineer to provide technical support for the Technical Advisory and Assistance Services (TAAS) program at Hanscom AFB. This is a full-time position. Responsibilities: - Apply engineering theories, principles, concepts, standards, and methods sufficient to extend or modify theories, concepts, and assumptions. - Resolve unique or novel problems, conditions, or issues which may require significantly altering standard practices, equipment, devices, processes, and known techniques. - Provide expert advice to professional colleagues and/or agency officials responsible for broad program operations. - Apply and support digital engineering concepts and techniques throughout the program lifecycle, such as providing technical support to Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE). - Evaluate the value and applicability of new or improved technology, strategies, trends, and applications. - Investigate, predict, and anticipate issues and conditions extending beyond a single specialty area and affecting known standards, approaches, precedents, or concepts. - Develop or collaborate in the formulation of new standards, applications, concepts, or theories. -...
