Job Description Summary Under general supervision, the Registered Nurse II/Relief Staff Leader provides individualized, goal-directed patient care to families and patients at the competent level utilizing the principles and practices of the nursing process; delivers safe and effective care and interacts with other members of the health care team to achieve desired results. The Registered Nurse II / Relief Staff Leader (RSL) reports to the Nurse Manager. Under general supervision, the RN II/RSL provides individualized, goal-directed patient care to patients and families at the competent level, utilizing the principles and practices of the nursing process. This role delivers safe, high-quality nursing care and collaborates with members of the interdisciplinary health care team to achieve desired patient outcomes. When functioning in the Relief Staff Leader role, the RN II/RSL serves as a visible clinical and operational leader for the unit.
