Job description
Under the general guidance of the Executive Director, Institute on Public Safety and Social Justice (IPSSJ) the Associate Director is responsible for providing a broad range of support and supervision to Institute on Public Safety and Social Justice (IPSSJ). Including oversight of, financial and programmatic compliance, staff resources as well as research assistance. The associate director will also be principally responsible for sourcing, funding and managing reporting of funds. Education/Experience: - Masters degree required. Ph.D preferred in social science field. - At least 7 years experience working at a non-profit institution and at least three of the seven years in administration (including grants administration). - Extensive knowledge of finance management in higher education preferred - Restorative justice training preferred.
