Description Reports to: Program Manager: Job Description Summary: The BeyondFaith Health & Wellness Occupational Therapist is responsible for ensuring that quality Occupational therapy care is coordinated, managed, and delivered appropriately in a cost-effective and financially responsible manner. Essential Job Functions/Responsibilities: A. Provides Occupational therapy services and manages patients’ Occupational therapy plans of care in an outpatient setting. Related duties include, but are not limited to: B. Consults with other healthcare team members and the community, as appropriate. C. Prepares and submits required, accurate and timely documentation in a facility- and regulatory-compliant format, to include, but not limited to: - Conducting complete Occupational therapy assessment and evaluation of each patient, employing appropriate tests and measures in the examination process; - Establishing an individualized Occupational Therapy plan of care for each patient, authorizations and concurrence with the plan of care; - Providing direction and supervision to Occupational Therapist Assistants (COTAs) and support personnel in accordance with state and federal regulations.
