About The Position: Must successfully complete drug screening and a background check Pay: $17.50 per hour The Gas Meter Painter is a temporary, summer position responsible for cleaning and painting gas meter sets for corrosion mitigation. Key responsibilities include: - Works under the direction of Gas Supervisor, to clean and paint residential meters, regulator stations, and industrial meter locations in assigned area to meet code requirements for corrosion mitigation. - Paints assigned gas meter sets and up to 3' of customer fuel line. - Expected to paint a minimum of three to four meters per hour and 1,000 meters over the course of the assignment.
