The Verge is seeking an ambitious and aggressive Supervising Producer to lead and elevate our long-running tech business show Decoder . This is a full-time, hybrid, production and management role based out of the Vox Media offices in New York City. It reports to our Editorial Director of Audio/Video. The ideal candidate is an experienced video leader and creative storyteller with deep knowledge of, and passion for, Decoder’s coverage areas of business, entrepreneurship, and public policy as they intersect with tech. They will directly manage a team of staff producers and editors, plus freelance talent, in creating multi-platform, multi-format content across our video, audio, and social channels, plus adjacent special projects and sponsorship opportunities. The Supervising Producer will help direct and carry out Decoder’s larger programing strategy, consistently elevating the show’s voice, reach, and visual aesthetic while managing deliverables and deadlines. We’re looking for an ambitious and aggressive leader who can juggle multiple projects in various production stages while kick-starting new ones in a fast-paced environment.
