Financial Accountant Full‑time | 40 hours per week | Finance Department | Hybrid About the role: We’re looking for a Financial Accountant to join our finance team and play a key role in delivering accurate, timely and compliant financial reporting. Reporting to the Financial Accounting Manager, you’ll take ownership of core financial accounting activities including balance sheet management, month‑end close, statutory reporting support and audit preparation. This is a great opportunity for a part‑qualified or newly qualified accountant who enjoys hands‑on financial accounting and wants to further develop their technical expertise in a collaborative, improvement‑focused environment. What you’ll be doing: Financial accounting & reporting: - Manage the fixed asset register, including capitalisation, depreciation and disposals - Prepare and post month‑end journals (accruals, prepayments, leases and adjustments) - Produce weekly cash flow reporting - Maintain and reconcile balance sheet accounts, investigating and resolving variances - Reconcile intercompany balances and prepare intercompany matrices - Support monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting in line with accounting stan...
