Job description

POSITION OVERVIEW: The Electrical Lead directs teams in the assembly, test, and troubleshooting of industrial electrical and controls systems and sub-assemblies, including installing motor control centers, assembling control panels, running conduit, pulling and terminating power cable and control wiring, installing lighting and electrical outlets. KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: - Interpret electrical engineering drawings and communicate requirements to work teams - Identify and report discrepancies on electrical and control drawings. - Troubleshooting of electrical and controls systems. - Ensure project schedule milestones are met. - Ensure all quality requirements are met and that required quality documentation is properly completed. - Perform coaching of the work team to ensure all cost, quality and schedule requirements are met. - Insure all employees adhere to prescribed safety program requirements. - Report defective material or questionable conditions to the department supervisor. - Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition. - Complete assigned tasks with minimum supervision. - Other duties as directed by supervisor.
