Job Description Executes methods and procedures for new tasks and the daily operations of Rehabilitation Services including the monitoring/administering of patient evaluations and quality of care in accordance with the written and signed prescription and/or referral of a physician or other State authorized practitioner. Conducts medically prescribed physical therapy programs. Assists in evaluating and treating disabilities, injuries and diseases using physical, chemical and mechanical means. Job Responsibility: - Administers direct patient care in accordance with the written and signed prescription of the referring physician or other State authorized practitioner. - Orientates Therapists to designated rotation, providing instruction regarding treatment protocols and use of equipment. - Submits required documentation in accordance with the policies and procedures of the department. - Guides clinical Rehabilitation staff. - Makes periodic inspections of equipment, identifies equipment malfunctions and initiates repairs by contacting appropriate service departments. - Assists with program development and quality improvement. - Participates in quality improvement chart reviews and acti...
