Personnel Area: Governance and Legal Services Branch: Lord Mayors Office: Work type: Temporary full-time: Location: City Hall, Brisbane CBD: Communications/Social Media Advisor This is an exciting opportunity to work with the Lord Mayor of Brisbane’s communications team. The Lord Mayor’s office works in a dynamic and fast-paced environment where they engage with internal and external stakeholders on issues, policies and projects that are priorities of the administration. The Communications/Social Media Advisor will be a member of the Lord Mayor’s communications team and work with the Director of Strategic Communications. We are looking for someone with a proven track record identifying social media opportunities and generating creative, engaging content across a diverse range of platforms, as well as video editing skills. The Communications/Social Media Advisor will also have demonstratable skills as a communications professional with previous experience writing media releases, speeches and/or other content styles.
