Yamaha has an excellent opportunity for a Marine Buyer I to join our Marine team in Kennesaw, GA. In this role you will be responsible for the Procurement, Inventory Control, Administration and Coordination of Parts and Accessories to ensure the support and accomplishment of corporate goals and objectives. What you'll be doing: - Execute strategic procurement plan using inventory and supplier metrics in support of strategic business objectives. - Create and execute purchases and perform purchase order maintenance. - Establish supplier delivery plans to minimize stock-outs. - Support the company’s initiatives to ensure adequate inventory is available to support initiatives, promotions, or events. - Perform system maintenance as required. - Keep Management informed of key issues and forward weekly status and other requested reports as required. - Manage supplier relationships for assigned new and/or active parts and accessories. - Act as the facilitator and relationship management champion balancing Yamaha's and the Supplier's needs. - Coordination and Project Management of any Inventory or Cost Reduction Initiatives. - Support the organizations' Green Procurement, CTPAT, and federal...
