The Salvation Army, an internationally recognized non-profit, faith-based organization, has an opening for a Christmas Driver in Corpus Christi, TX. Job Summary: Drives van to pick up bell ringers at Corps and transports them to designated work sites and transports them back to the Corps; drives the truck and/or van to and from homes, agencies and churches to pick up gifts, stockings, etc.; loads and unloads gifts from the van to the Corps; lifts, carries, loads and unloads Christmas donations, gifts, stocks, etc.; ensures the safety, security and accountability of the vehicle and donations at all times. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Knowledge of The Salvation Army mission, philosophy, culture, protocol, and organizational structure. Knowledge of the assigned geographic area. Ability to organize route in a manner that saves time and gasoline consumption. Ability to work effectively and cooperatively with co-workers and donors. Ability to follow instructions. Ability to present a positive and professional image of The Salvation Army. Education and Experience: High School diploma or GED And a minimum of two years driving experience.
