Mechanical Designer

TOGETHER, WE SAVE LIVES: We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Designer to join our team on a full time position. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a hands-on engineering environment and enjoys taking designs from concept through prototyping and validation. You will work closely within a cross functional team to develop robust mechanical assemblies that meet demanding performance and regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities: - Design and develop mechanical assemblies using SolidWorks, including SolidWorks Simulation for FEA analysis. - Support prototyping activities, including tool usage, fit checks, and design iteration. - Apply strong knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics in system and component design. - Ensure compliance with MIL-STD -8 10, FMVSS, requirements during design and testing. - Develop and review welded structures, sheet metal components, and parts requiring forming or stamping processes. - Collaborate within a PLM system to manage design data, revisions, and documentation. - Work closely with manufacturing, testing, and quality teams to ensure successful product realization.
