Employment Type: Full time Shift: Day Shift Description: Education Minimum: High School Diploma or GED and Successful completion of accredited/approved: MA program and MA externship, or MA internship. Credentials/Licensure: Minimum: Certification as a Medical Assistant through one of the following certifying agencies: · American Association of Medical Assistants (CMA) · American Medical Technologists (RMA) · National Center for Competency Testing (NCMA) · National Healthcareer Association (CCMA) · National Association of Health Professionals (NRCMA) · American Medical Certification Association (CMAC) For those MA III’s working in Workplace Health , the following additional certifications are required : · DOT Drug Screen Collector, and · DOT Breath Alcohol Technician · Competent to perform FIT testing for employees who require respiratory protective equipment by employers. Related Experience: Minimum: 3+ years experience working as a credentialed MA with skills/education required from MA-II role.
