BRIEF DESCRIPTION: The Regional Business Development Manager - Commercial Insurance is responsible for generating new business opportunities by developing relationships. Primary responsibilities include inside and outside sales activities such as networking, lead generation, social media, and participation in trade associations. ACCOUNTABILITIES: Within assigned region of responsibility and nationally, as applicable. - Business development activity - Face-to-face meetings - Generating whale leads - Mix of business PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Business Development - Within assigned region or in any geographic market where our customers are present - The expectation of this position is that 75% of time and effort will be dedicated to the region of responsibility, while 25% of time and efforts will be dedicated outside the region of responsibility. - Identifies, nurtures, and develops new/existing business relationships to increase referral opportunities. - Locates, presents to, and sells BluSky to new and prospects. - Works with a defined list of targets managed through Salesforce. - Maintains membership and involvement in targeted associations. - Prepares and presents sales...
