Mechanical Fabricator

Job description

Position Purpose The Mechanical Fabricator will fabricate, assemble, weld, and repair TAIT products. This individual will have MIG, TIG, and/or FCAW knowledge and experience. This position will require the individual to be functional in mechanical, assembly, and fabrication procedures and techniques. The position is responsible to deliver a finished quality product to the client within estimated time. Essential Responsibilities: - Read and understand blueprints, drawings - Ensure correct material/products are used in the project - Evaluate the quality of materials, parts, and equipment before the fabrication process is started. Report any concerns to management before continuing with project. - Adhere to and implement proper fabrication and assembly techniques efficiently and effectively - Utilize general fabrication tools safely, efficiently, and effectively. - Maintain accurate dimensional tolerances and product specifications. - Conduct quality check at assignment completion.
