POSITION SUMMARY: Position is responsible for purchasing and evaluating repair parts along with maintaining close relationships with vendors to continuously improve and lower company costs. This position also requires a large concentration of time performing research and development for the department. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: - PM System in SAP – oversee inputting of machinery, creation of PM schedules, etc. - Research and Development of parts and equipment - Maintain maintenance crib - Work closely with vendors to purchase best quality parts at the best price - Maintain keys and security records - File and maintain Maintenance PM records. - Maintain database for the “Asset Management Program” - Assist the Maintenance Manager with the scheduling of the “Top Ten List”. - Help chart the Maintenance measurables for BOS. - Assist the Maintenance Manager lead the Maintenance and Set-Up teams with Lean principles, Quick Change Technology, Total Predictive Maintenance, Cell Design, and 5 S. - Employee must perform his/her job within acceptable safety, environmental, quality, productivity and performance standards as outlined in plant policies, handbooks and applicable work...
