Overview Retina Consultants of Texas (RCTX) is seeking an Ophthalmic Techncian to join our innovative team with the mission of Fighting Blindness For The World To See. This position will be responsible for providing accurate documentation, summarization of patient’s medical history, and performing preliminary ocular examination. The Technician is responsible for maintaining patient flow and communication regarding appointment status to patients and Clinic Managers in our Spurs Lane Clinic. Candidates must be able to travel to other clinics in the northern part of San Antonio, TX, but will be based out of the Schertz, TX clinic primarily. to meet the needs of the patients and providers, and support the Clinic hours of Monday through Friday between the hours of 6:30am-6:30pm (some later evening during the week may be required). Schedules are provided weekly and are based on the provider's clinic, patient and surgery schedules. Clinic staff are provided with the opportunity for weekend hours if available.
