Reliability Engineer

The Reliability Engineer is based at the Totowa, NJ plant and reports directly to the Manager, Maintenance. This role is responsible for improving equipment uptime, reducing operational costs, strengthening food safety compliance, and supporting overall plant productivity. The position delivers measurable value through reduced downtime, improved OEE, lower waste, and extended asset life, while enabling advanced predictive maintenance and long-term operational stability. Essential Functions: - Improve equipment reliability and uptime by applying structured methodologies such as Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA), Root Cause Analysis (RCA), predictive and condition‑based maintenance, and preventive maintenance optimization. - Develop and implement data‑driven maintenance strategies that reduce total maintenance costs and improve asset performance. This includes optimizing PM intervals, analyzing failure patterns, establishing spare‑parts thresholds, standardizing lubrication practices, and supporting component rebuild programs. - Drive reliability‑centere...
