This Opportunity WSP is seeking a Field Engineer to join our Construction Management team out of our Herndon, VA office. Your Impact: Job Duties: - Provide technical support to Construction Area Resident Engineer, Construction Manager and field inspection staff providing owners rep program management services. - Monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with: - Contract plans and specifications - FRA, Amtrak, CSX, and VRE standards - Environmental permit conditions - Conduct daily inspections of work in place (concrete pours, rebar placement, foundations, trackwork, etc.) - Support required testing and quality documentation - interpret and verify compliance with specifications, work instructions, methods, procedures, and product data. - Assist in developing construction inspection and oversight strategies, and work directly with program management staff and design/build contractor personnel to implement - Maintain regular logs of work progress - Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of construction plans, project specifications, work instructions, schedules, applicable safety regulations, and relevant design, shop, and other associated drawings to stay informed...
