POSITION SUMMARY: The Floating Medical Assistant works with the Physician and other members of the primary or specialty care team by performing a variety of clinical and administrative patient-related duties. The Medical Assistant also works to fulfill a variety of patient needs and ensures smooth patient flow within the department. Duties and Responsibilities: - Greets patients on the phone and in person - Willing to drive between Bountiful, Park City, Salt Lake City, Heber, Sandy, Eagle Mountain, West Jordan - Places patients in the exam rooms - Takes vital signs and perform ancillary tests appropriate to skill level - Assists and sets up for providers during examination, treatment, and procedures - Keeps accurate patient files - Applies dressing, bandages, and splints as ordered by provider - Ensures rooms are stocked with necessary supplies - Maintains a sanitized and...
