JOB SUMMARY: Under the immediate direction of the Nurse Manager, Cardiac Catheterization, assists physician and medical team in preparing patients for and performing interventional procedures; i.e., left and right heart catheterizations, heart biopsies, angioplasties (coronary and peripheral), atherectomies, coronary ultrasounds, interaortic balloon pump insertions, coronary stent procedures, electrophysiology procedures and valvoplasties.
