Description JOB TITLE: Lifeguard: JOB SUMMARY : Maintain a safe, hygienic, pleasant environment in the swimming areas. Monitor all activity and conditions for safety hazards, unsafe behavior, and medical emergencies. Take any corrective action required, following established guidelines. Perform the daily required cleaning and maintenance of waterfront area. REPORTS TO : Activities Manager & Pool Supervisor PRIMARY DUTIES AND FUNCTIONS: 1. Watch swimmers and swimming area for safety hazards, unsafe behavior, and medical emergencies. Take any corrective action necessary; follow proper emergency practice if needed. 2. Complete all necessary paperwork, including swimming areas records, guest charges, chemical orders, and maintenance log. 3. Clean all assigned areas: Wibit pieces, chairs, umbrellas, PFD Shed, Staff/Gear Shed and check in area. 4. Empty wastebaskets. 5. Transport towels to and from the laundry. 6. Clean/ Rake Sand Beach. 7. Fold and Replenish towels. 8. Check and maintain air levels in the Wibit pieces. 9. Prepare daily beach checklist for resident manager. 10.
