Facilities Maintenance Technician III (3rd Shift)

Job description

Overview THE ROLE: The 3rd shift Facilities Maintenance Technician III will perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, repair, preventative maintenance, and installation tasks both on the facilities, physical plant equipment, as well as production equipment, and machinery. This position requires demonstration of competency for all activities that either directly or indirectly affect product safety and quality. HOW YOU WOULD CONTRIBUTE: Grade level movement dependent on demonstrated equipment knowledge, tracked via Maintenance Training Matrix. - Adhere to all company and OSHA safety rules, policies and regulations. - Perform safety and environmental inspections, as required. - Maintain a clean and organized work area. - Actively perform assigned PMs, PdM tasks, and continuous improvement activities. - Utilize predictive maintenance tools (ultrasonic, vibration analysis, laser alignment). - Proactively look for equipment trends, root causes and variances. Develop action plans for and implement improvements. - Develop projects and process improvement initiatives.
