Description The University of Michigan School of Dentistry (Ann Arbor) invites qualified applications and nominations for the chair position in the Department of Cariology, Restorative Sciences and Endodontics. This is an outstanding opportunity for an associate professor or professor on the tenure track to lead a vibrant, growing and well-established department with brand new clinical facilities. The department incorporates faculty members in the fields of restorative dentistry, endodontics and cariology research. The department chair is responsible for leading the department faculty members in support of the DDS program (didactic, pre-clinical and clinical); enhancing an outstanding graduate program in Restorative Dentistry and Endodontics; participation in PhD programs, continued development of cutting edge resources to enable high quality, rigorous scholarship of faculty, staff and trainees; and implementation of strategic plans to strengthen the academic and clinical missions through hiring and community building.
