Description Monday - Friday 1pm to 6pm $18.50/hr. and a Free YMCA Membership The Birthday & Groups Coordinator is responsible for the comprehensive planning, coordination, and execution of birthday parties and group visits, ensuring a well-organized and positive experience for all participants. This position requires consistent demonstration of YMCA leadership competencies and a commitment to upholding the mission, values, and professional image of the YMCA of Greater Rochester. SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES: · Plan, schedule, coordinate, and execute birthday parties and group visits from start to finish. · Collaborate with the Camp Director to develop and manage weekly staff schedules for events. · Communicate with group leaders and birthday families prior to events to confirm details and ensure a smooth experience. · Maintain appropriate inventory levels and order supplies to support multiple events per day. · Set up and break down event spaces, ensuring readiness, cleanliness, and efficiency for each program. · Actively engage with children, families, and groups to create a welcoming, fun, and inclusive atmosphere. · Maintain accurate records of bookings, completed events, and relat...
