Job description

Basic Function: Responsible for loading and unloading Cans and running the Retorts in accordance with company procedures and regulations, while maintaining excellent food Safety, Health & Safety Practices. Hours of Work: Sunday to Friday working a 40-hour week with a 1 x 30-minute paid break daily, 3 shift patterns: - 06.00 to 14.00 / 22:00 to 06:00 / 14.00 to 22.00 Key Duties: · Follow health and safety policy and procedures, leading by example contributing to a positive safety culture. · Maintain high standards of quality and GMP throughout the preparation process. · Comply with company’s policies and vision. · Physical ability required to load/unload the machine. · Adhere to all packaging, material handling and labelling legislation requirements. · Update SIC boards in line with terms of reference. Machine Operative Responsibilities: Communicate effectively with Co-Workers, Managers and other departments to ensure the effective running of the production operation. Maintain high standards of cleanliness within the area. Ensure compliance with health and safety legislation.
