Youth & Young Adult Ministries Director (Part-Time) The Oaks Community Church – Bakersfield, CA About The Oaks Community Church: The Oaks Community Church is a Christ-centered, Spirit-filled family of believers located in a middle-class neighborhood in southwest Bakersfield, California. We are part of the worldwide family of the Christian & Missionary Alliance and a home for the nations. The Oaks is committed to “Growing Spirit-filled Disciples of Jesus.” Founded in 1993, The Oaks has grown into a vibrant, multicultural, and multigenerational congregation that reflects God’s heart for all nations and all people, with approximately 300 people in attendance each Sunday. Our worship service is relaxed and family-friendly, with contemporary, upbeat music. We place a strong emphasis on local and global missions, and our worship center displays over fifty national flags celebrating the diversity of our church family.
