Position Title: Youth and Family Summer Internship Job Description: The Division of Youth and Family and the Salt Lake City’s Mayor’s Office are pleased to offer summer intern positions. Applicants must be 16 to 18-year-old teens living in Salt Lake City and attending Salt Lake City School District (SLCSD) high schools. The Division of Youth and Family has developed a strong working relationship with the Salt Lake City School District Career and Technical Education (CTE) department. CTE Career and College Pathways show students a direct connection between doing well in high school and being able to transition smoothly to postsecondary opportunities or getting a good job when they graduate. Students who focus on a Career Pathway acquire the skills necessary for entry into well-paid careers with high potential for rapid financial growth, increased levels of responsibility, and a high degree of personal satisfaction. About the Internship: Intern participants will bring a new perspective into the workplace and help develop our future workforce.
