City/State Virginia Beach, VA Work Shift: First (Days) Overview: Sentara Virginia Beach General is hiring a Registered Nurse Supervisor for the Intermediate Care/Step Down Unit. Full-time, Days: Department/Position Overview: The 3East - Intermediate Care Unit at Sentara Virginia Beach General enjoys a supportive team environment and nurse patient ratio including a unit based nurse educator, team coordinator and manager. The unit has an active Partnership council and is currently involved with the hospital Magnet redesignation journey. All new grad RNs receive a 10 to 12-week clinical preceptorship as well as enrollment in the Transition to Practice Program. The patient population on this unit may include: sepsis, hemorrhage, stroke, cardiac, trauma, post op, substance withdrawal, diabetic ketoacidosis.
