Job description

Description Insulation Fabricators fabricate and assemble various insulation parts used in the manufacturing of power transformers. You will use various drawings issued from the design group to shape, assemble, check for quality, and deliver to the required department. These materials help prevent electrical short circuits and ensure the efficient and safe operation of the transformer. On-the-job training to operate the equipment will be provided. Must possess excellent communication skills and work well in a team environment. Essential Functions: · Interprets technical drawings to understand required specifications · Cutting and shaping insulation materials based on transformer design specifications · Precisely fitting insulation into transformer components like coils, windings, and core structures · Inspecting materials for defects, measuring dimensions, and ensuring compliance with industry standards · Sanding, shaving, scraping, cleaning · Assist with moving large sheets to cut on the shear or panel saw · Stage upcoming jobs on the panel saw Keep work area safe, neat, and clean Requirements: Employee must be able to work afternoon shift!
