Description The Department of Computer Science in the College of Arts and Science at American University invites applications for three full-time, tenure-track positions beginning August 1, 2018. Two of these positions are at the rank of Assistant Professor while the third one is an open-rank position. Applicants should have a PhD or an anticipated PhD completion by August 2018 in the field of Computer Science. We are looking for candidates who are effective teachers, are strongly committed to excellence in scholarly research, and are excited at the prospect of joining a department in the making where they will be able to make their mark and join a friendly, collegiate and highly accomplished team.
