Description ABOUT THE POSITION & ITS IMPACT: The Nursing Specialist is responsible for caring for and supporting our client’s medical care during their stay at Milestones. Working alongside the VP of Medical Services, Clinical Director, Psychiatric team, Client Advocates and other Milestones’ stakeholders, the Nursing Specialist is the day-to-day medical contact for all manner of client care and provides world-class care in concert with the client’s treatment plan. ABOUT THE DAY-TO-DAY IN THIS ROLE: - As a member of the Nursing staff, you will provide patient care on a daily basis including exams, take and record vital signs, perform testing and prepare medication for self-administration - Assist with medical and psychological exams as needed and accurately and thoroughly document all needed information on appropriate charts, log all medical occurrences such as illnesses, injuries, reports of illness, etc. - Prepare medication for self-administration to participants; ensuring the procedures of administration and documentation are in place.
