The core responsibilities of this role include: Dispatching drivers and shuttles, communicating with drivers and client representatives. Processing and validating shipping paperwork. Scheduling shipments/appointments. Position: Traffic Clerk: Shift: 2nd Shift (Monday-Friday, 3:00pm-11:30pm) Pay: $17.97/hour + an additional $0.75/hour shift premium Additional Incentives: Safety shoe allowance, safety glasses voucher for prescription glasses if needed, cross-training opportunities. In addition to the general job description below, the ideal candidate will also possess the following skills and/or experience: Supply Chain, Logistics, Transportation/Dispatch, Data Entry, Customer Care, Intermediate or higher experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word) and experience using a commercial WMS (warehouse management system) such as JDA (preferred), Blue Yonder, Red Prairie, JDA, SAP, etc. is preferred.
