Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40 Work Shift: Days (United States of America) Responsible for implementing system infection prevention strategies, policies and practices at the market/site level. Leads market integration and standardization. Works closely with and collaborates with the System Director, Infection Prevention. Serves as subject matter expert for infection prevention. Leads, coaches and mentors the site and/or market-based infection prevention team(s). Essential Job Functions: Manages the operation of the Infection Prevention and Control Program to ensure patient and personnel safety, in alignment with system goals, and compliance with State and Federal regulatory requirements. Responsible for analyzing, coordinating, and evaluating all infection prevention and control practices within all hospital departments and clinics Provides leadership and management of key infection and control initiatives to reduce preventable infections applying epidemiologic principles and statistical methods.
