Salary Details The salary range for this position is CAD $31.19/Hr. - CAD $31.19/Hr. Job Summary: Working within the vision and values of Vancouver Coastal Health and in accordance with the organizational policies and processes, the Relational Security Officer establishes a supportive presence at healthcare sites to emphasize, maintain, and ensure security of persons and property in accordance with established policies and procedures. Reporting to the Manager, Safety & Prevention and working under general supervision, the Relational Security Officer provides a proactive approach to managing potential violence and aggression within the healthcare setting, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for patients, staff and visitors. The Relational Security Officer works as part of a Relational Security Team that promotes a variety of trauma informed interventions, practices and safety & prevention services.
