Department Summary The Interdisciplinary Engineering (IDE) program in the Davidson College of Engineering offers both the B.S. in Interdisciplinary Engineering and an M.S. in Engineering degree. These programs provide students with flexible curriculum that is truly interdisciplinary and not available through the other engineering programs in the college. The IDE program also provides administrative support for the College of Engineering's writing courses as well as the Introduction to Engineering course taken by all undergraduate students in the College of Engineering. The IDE program also offers a minor in Green Engineering, a minor in Applied Computing and a minor in Innovation and Law. The IDE program website is: sjsu.edu/ide Brief Description of Duties: Lecturers are expected to teach their courses effectively; to maintain appropriate office hours in accordance with University Policy; and to cooperate with the department in the peer-review process.
