JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for maintaining the appearance of the pool area to Hotel standards at all times. Monitors all activity on the pool deck, enforces pool rules, and provides assistance to guests as needed. Maintains cleanliness of the pool deck area in addition to providing assistance to hotel guests at the pool following check-in at the pool counter. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: - Remains alert to all activity occurring within their assigned section of the pool area throughout their shift. - Treats customers with courtesy and respect at all times. - Remains appropriately groomed as stated in the departmental guidelines appearance code. - Notifies the manager immediately of any problems at the pool requiring any extra ordinary attention (i.e., guest injury, guest employee conflict, etc.). - Ensures all guests follow pool rules (i.e., diving board safety, running, horseplay, etc.).
