Williams Parker , the region's largest and oldest law firm founded in 1925, is seeking an experienced Labor & Employment Attorney with 5-10 years of experience and a portable book of business to join our dynamic team in Sarasota, Florida . As a Labor & Employment Attorney with Williams Parker, you will represent public and private employers of all sizes. You will represent clients in federal and state courts, as well as before federal, state, and local administrative agencies. You will also assist clients with risk management and workplace policies, helping employers avoid claims and minimize litigation by providing preventive daily advice, periodic formal training, employment audits, and training seminars to educate clients about human resource issues. You will help managers with difficult hiring, discipline, layoff, and termination issues; respond to internal complaints; and help clients traverse high-risk situations.
