Department: 36303 Alleghany Health - Radiology Status: Part time Benefits Eligible: No Hou rs Per Week: 0 Schedule Details/Additional Information: PRN Shift varies Pay Range: $26.30 - $39.45 POSITION HIGHLIGHTS: - Location: Sparta, NC - Shift Schedule: PRN - As needed YOU’LL NEED: - Graduate of an institution accredited by an agency that ARRT recognizes in Radiologic or Nuclear Medicine Technology. - ARRT certification in Radiology or NMTCB for Nuclear Medicine and advanced registry from the ARRT in CT within one year of hire required. - BLS required. SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS: Demonstrates knowledge of the principles of growth and development. Demonstrates the skills and competency appropriate to the ages, culture, developmental stages, and special needs of the patient population served. - Examines requests and verifies orders on each assigned patient. Refers and questions orders to the Radiologist before performing exam. Contacts ordering provider when there are discrepancies. - Properly identify (Using two patient identifiers) and assist patients while offering a brief explanation of the procedures.
