Description Summary of Description: Perform routine tasks related to the collection of data required to monitor budgets and estimates for a specific portion of a project. Duties: - Reconciliation and audit of invoices relative to services received and contractor cost reports, agreed billing rates and terms and conditions. - Input actual costs into project cost reports in preparation for Project Manager’s review and forecasting of final costs. - Update individual project cost reports for actual cost to date. - Monitor contractors project controls systems (Cost Reports, Productivity Analysis, Forecasts, etc.) to ensure costs are being managed within the approved Project funding and/or requests. - Validate contractor cost reports ensure incorporated into overall Project Cost Reports. - Interface with Project Accountant and Client Accountant. - Ability to learn to analyze and compile data that may have an influence on costs, efficiencies, trends, etc. Such factors include labor, materials, subcontracts, special machinery requirements and location. - Assist others with estimates and bids. - Communicate and interface with all other project team members. - Assist in preparing routine and/...
