IP Counsel – Strategic IP Role in a Global Company Kongsberg Automotive is seeking a business-oriented and technically strong IP Counsel who will play a key role in protecting and further developing the Kongsberg Automotive Group’s intellectual property and technology portfolio. The position offers a truly international work environment and close collaboration with Engineering, Sales, Legal and Management, as well as with external advisors. About the Role: As IP Counsel, you will act as a strategic IP partner to our business areas and help ensure that our IP strategy supports the company’s technology, product, and business objectives. You will work broadly with innovation, patents, trademarks, IP strategy, portfolio management and licensing. Key Responsibilities: - Develop, drive, and continuously improve IP strategies for selected technologies and product areas - Conduct and coordinate freedom-to-operate (FTO) and patentability analyses in close cooperation with Engineering, Management, and external patent attorneys - Assess inventions with regard to patentability, business relevance, and competitive value - Provide recommendations on protection strategies (patents, trade secrets,...
