Area Iberia, Italy & Malta is part of DNV Maritime, Region West Europe. The Area includes all maritime business activities and consists of ~60 employees in 11 locations. The Area operates with two Service Lines: We are looking for a Surveyor of materials and components to join our NB&CMC team in Italy, reporting to the local Line Management. Our customers require a wide range of certification activities: from materials and welding procedures to pressure vessels, pumps, compressors, gears, thrusters, electrical installations, automation systems, lifting appliances, complex offshore packages. Classification of big and complex ships, from design phase to final delivery, is part of our service portfolio. From this traditional background, we started a journey covering also advanced future technology: fuel cells, new types of turbines, advanced electrical drives, and lithium batteries for ship propulsion, to name a few.
