Maintenance Planner - Bakery

Job description

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager at our Indianapolis, IN bakery plant, local producers of Marie Callender’s pies, you will plan and schedule all plant maintenance activities including the coordination of preventive, planned, and un-planned maintenance. Analyze all planned change parts and make recommendations for Preventative Maintenance changes. Ensure functional standards are maintained between maintenance, accounting and production departments along with accountability of external vendors. Guide communication between the production, engineering, and maintenance departments. How Will You Affect Our Business? Ensure parts inventory is adequate to support production/drumbeat activity and at the lowest possible level. Lead Pre and Post Drumbeat meetings and all Drumbeat activities. Process and prioritize work orders, examine and determine best approach for work order completion Make equipment numbers, tasks and task numbers Add parts to tasks. (PM03 PM01). Verify accurate tagging in LEDS, PM02 notification, and BDAR Help with BDAR review. Requisition parts and materials for work order packages and non-stocked items.
