Job description

- Responsible for various types of weld preparation, welding and weld finishing operations to manufacture Kimball product to drawings, specifications, or other forms of instruction. - Proficient in assigned welding techniques - Interpretation of mechanical drawings, including weld requirement symbiology - Knowledge of wire, filler and brazing materials applications for various steel alloys, aluminum materials - Working knowledge of fixturing and weld set up parameters (amps, volts, etc.) - Conventional and precision measuring instruments - Process inspection, certification, and documentation - Welding equipment maintenance - Finish grinding applications using manual and power tools - Safety and Housekeeping - Must wear all required PPE. - Must be highly motivated and able to work independently. - Must have experience is MIG welding Qualifications: - Interpersonal Skills - Ability to learn and adapt to new situations quickly. - Able to interact with diverse groups of people. - Must have a positive attitude. - Highly motivated and able to work independently or as a team. - Flexible with work schedules.
