Department Intercollegiate Athletics Summary: Reports to the Head Volleyball Coach and Director of Athletics. Assist the Head Volleyball Coach with vario us aspects of the varsity volleyball program; i.e., coaching, recruiting, scheduling, camps/clinics, and game/practice management and fundraising. The assistant volleyball coach will adhere to RMAC rules, regulations, and NCAA Division II bylaws. In addition, the assistant volleyball coach will represent MSU Denver in a positive manner and continue to uphold the program’s philosophies and the athletic department’s core values. Duties/Responsibilities: 40% – Coaching – Assist head coach in coaching team 25% – Recruiting 20% – Supervision of student-athletes 15% – Game/Practice preparation/management Specific Responsibilities: Assist the Head Coach in the overall management and operation of the volleyball program. - Serve as primary point of contact for the volleyball program in the absence of the Head Coach. - Recruiting coordinator (point of contact for all initial communication and evaluation, manage the recruiting database, scheduling and paperwor k for visits) - Travel coordinator (paperwork for all travel, hotel and flight res...
