Job description

Reports to: Radiology Director FLSA Classification: Full-time, Non-exempt, Hourly $33.96 - $49.06 The working environment is a normal clinical setting with exposure to sharps, radiation, and biological and chemical agents. May be exposed to traumatic situations, including psychiatric, dismembered, and deceased patients. It is expected that facility safety practices and protocols are followed at all times. Essential Functions: - Perform a variety of imaging procedures in MRI, Nuclear Medicine, CT, and X-Ray. - Responsible for patient safety protocols. - Function as the first line interference with patients in the successful accomplishment of their imaging needs. - Actively participate in performance improvement, radiation safety, patient satisfaction, radiological patient and physical education, continuous quality improvement, and employee satisfaction committees. - Utilize knowledge of medical radiation physics and theory. - Evaluate and perform patient care during imaging examinations. - Prepare and maintain records, both written and electronic. - Promptly respond to correspondence. - other duties as assigned.
